Fish me
Design: 2009
This particular Romance card was a commissioned piece, destined for a boy who loves to go out fishing. On the cover is Prince Charming casually fishing when he sees a passing ‘siren’ in the water. When opening the card, you see him picking her up out of the water and carrying her away in his strong arms, leaving only a mini fridge of fish behind.
The illustrations have been in pencil and Rotring before they got water coloured.

In 1998, I earned my bachelors in graphic design in Breda, The Netherlands. Just as the internet bubble formed, I moved to Spain and eagerly studied web design and interfaces on my own. Balance
The joy of work is in the balance: organising and taking care of customers in the user experience field, mathematical challenges in HTML coding and composing bright colourful palettes on screen and paper.
These three perspectives harmoniously come together into one goal: making people happy with useful and beautiful designs. Boy, do I love my job!
